Mission:
The mission of First Baptist Church is to carry out the Great Commission (the spreading of the Gospel). The church family will help members and the community to grow spiritually and in the knowledge, understanding, and application of God’s Word as taught from the Holy Bible through Sunday Worship Service, Sunday Morning Bible Study, Midweek Bible Study and Prayer Service, and participation in the auxiliaries, services and activities of the church.
Vision:
First Baptist Church of Anchorage will be a spiritual leader in the community. Under the guidance and leadership of the Holy Spirit with the Holy Bible as our sword, we will share the Gospel with God’s people through the preaching of the Holy Word, committed outreach service and continued spiritual growth of her members. Members and visitors will worship in an environment that promotes food fellowship, love, respect, and concern for one another and our community.
